I had been humming this song to myself for what felt like years on end, never once thinking it could be something I could bring to life on my own. When I finally was able to invest in a new synthesizer, it brought with it the right kind of sounds to finally create the track. The lyrics took much more formation during the height of coronavirus lockdown, the racism encouraged by #45, the Eric Garner situation and the Capitol Riots. It's incredible to be inspired to do a song that's about uplifting &
much needed encouragement during the middle of all of aforementioned events.
