The original version of the song is exactly what it is meant to be...simple, elementary in its elegance and somber. I couldn't stop thinking about the song since coming back to it and had been itching to re-record it but waited another few months before attempting to do so. This remixed version is available on my "Pennies From My Piano" album but fits in well with this album for those who feel differently about the holidays whether its due to tragedy, hard times, non belief, etc. I still wish I could give this song some military drums behind it but since I did not have that at my disposal to finish fulfilling what I hear, this is the closest I could come to achieving what was necessary.
